What Are Sublimation Transfers?
Sublimation heat transfers use heat and pressure to convert solid dye into gas, which permeates polyester fibers and bonds at a molecular level. The result is a permanent, full-color image with zero hand feel — the print becomes part of the fabric rather than sitting on top.
This process produces exceptionally vivid, lightweight transfers ideal for sportswear sublimation, performance jerseys, and activewear where breathability and comfort are critical. Because the dye bonds within the fiber, sublimation prints resist cracking, peeling, and fading through extensive wash cycles.
