Apparel Heat Transfers for Fashion, Streetwear, Intimates and Baby

Apparel is the most demanding decoration category we run, because a streetwear hoodie, a baby tee and a stretch lace label cannot share the same transfer. This page is how we match each garment to the right decoration, backed by 30 years of program experience and an OEKO-TEX water-based glue line cleared for next-to-skin and baby wear.

  • 5M+/day peak production capacity
  • 3,000+ apparel brands served
  • OEKO-TEX · ISO 9001 audited certifications
  • 28 yrs in printing export

Most-requested apparel scenarios

Cotton fashion tee with soft-hand DTF transfer

Soft-hand fashion tees and hoodies

Challenge

Fashion buyers reject any tee where the print sits on the surface like a sticker. Hand feel decides shelf placement and return rate. The print also has to clear retail wash testing without cracking at the chest fold.

Approach

Soft-hand DTF film pressed at 130 to 180 degrees Celsius for 2 to 10 seconds at 0.2 to 0.6 kg per cm2. Powder ratio is tuned for cotton and cotton-poly blends with our self-developed quick-cure ink, so the print stays flexible after the first wash.

Result

Passes 50+ home wash cycles per ISO 6330 with no lift, no cracking and no measurable color loss in our in-house QC. Hand feel verified in retail buyer wear tests. In service with EU streetwear and fashion brands.

Streetwear hoodie with raised puff transfer logo

Streetwear puff hoodie graphics

Challenge

Streetwear buyers want a 3D puff logo that lifts off the fabric for visual impact and tactile feel, but it cannot deflate, yellow, or crack after a season of wear and wash.

Approach

High-rise puff adhesive pressed at 120 to 180 degrees Celsius for 5 to 8 seconds with a secondary cool-peel cycle. Our self-developed foaming agents cover micro-puff through 4x-rise; partial-puff effects on a single design are one of our deep specialties. The top film is engineered for color stability under sweat and indoor lighting.

Result

Puff height stays consistent after 50+ home wash cycles per ISO 6330 in our in-house QC. No yellowing under standard retail lighting. Production from 500 pcs per design.

Tagless neck label printed inside a soft tee

Tagless neck labels for next-to-skin pieces

Challenge

Sewn-in care labels itch and get cut out by customers, often damaging the garment. Brands need a tagless label that holds care, brand, and size info, survives industrial wash, and feels invisible against skin.

Approach

OEKO-TEX certified water-based ink printed direct onto soft-hand transfer film. Pressed at 140 to 180 degrees Celsius (low end for spandex-heavy fabrics) to protect stretch content. The water-based glue line passes 250+ safety tests for direct skin and infant use.

Result

Skin-safe to OEKO-TEX standard, suitable for next-to-skin and baby wear. Label legibility retained after 50+ home wash cycles in our in-house QC. Used by premium intimate, lingerie and baby wear brands.

Silicone brand badge on intimate apparel

Premium intimate and lingerie brand marks

Challenge

Intimate apparel brand marks must read premium at retail and feel non-existent against skin during wear. Many brands have failed by putting a hard rubber transfer on a delicate fabric.

Approach

Ultra-thin silicone applied at low temperature, 110 to 140 degrees Celsius for 4 to 10 seconds. Adhesive is matched to delicate stretch knits and membrane shells so there are no glaze marks on the surrounding fabric.

Result

Passes 50+ gentle home wash cycles in our in-house QC with no edge lift. Hand feel verified in client wear panels. Approved by premium intimate and lingerie brands.

  1. Inquiry and quote

Send your spec sheet (artwork, size, quantity, target unit price). We reply within 24 hours with a written quote and a yes or no on technical fit.

  2. Sampling

We print on your actual fabric so you can wash-test and hand-feel test before approving. Sample usually ships in 4 to 6 working days; revisions during the same project are free.

  3. Production and QC

Bulk production typically takes 7 to 10 working days (rush available on request). 100 percent visual inspection plus random batch wash tests against the approved sample.

  4. Shipping

Air, sea or express, your call. Commercial invoice and packing list provided ahead of shipment so customs can pre-clear.

Fabric and garment considerations

  • Cotton jersey: tees

The most forgiving apparel fabric. DTF, silicone, puff and flock all bond cleanly. Choose by desired hand-feel and artwork complexity, not by technical compatibility.

  • Cotton fleece: hoodies, sweats

Best canvas for silicone, puff and flock. The loft of the fabric helps the transfer sit proud. DTF works too but loses some of the raised identity that hoodie branding usually wants.

  • Stretch knits: modal, viscose, lyocell for intimates and leggings

Use stretch-grade DTF or low-temperature tagless construction. Standard silicone and puff have less stretch recovery and may crack on high-stretch zones. Avoid placement directly over high-tension seams.

  • Delicate weaves: silk, lace, mesh for lingerie

Tagless labels only. The application temperature must stay below 140°C. We use low-temp adhesive and a teflon-protected press to avoid scorching or melt-marks on synthetic lace.

  • Baby and children's combed cotton

OEKO-TEX Class I certified DTF and tagless are the only options we recommend for ages 0 to 36 months. We can supply the certification documentation alongside shipping documents for retailer compliance.

  • Cotton-polyester blends: 50/50 to 65/35

All five technique families bond. DTF and silicone have the widest tolerance for blend ratio. Sublimation is not used in the apparel pillar. See the Sportswear pillar for polyester-led decoration.
